Date of Death (and Age):  September 27, 1944 (age 33), died of wounds (DOW).

 

Place of Death:  Near Pont le Gilbert, France.

 

Awards:  Silver Star (posthumously).


Grave Location:  Re-interred from France to Bennington Cemetery, Bennington, Kansas in 1949.
